Belleville is a municipality located at the mouth of the Moira River on the Bay of Quinte in southeastern Ontario, Canada, in the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. It is the seat of Hastings County. Belleville is home to the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League. A major summer event which attracts thousands of people to Belleville every year is the Waterfront and Ethnic festival. Belleville is the home of Loyalist College, the local community college. There are three public high schools and two publicly funded Roman Catholic high schools. Ontario is the most crowded of Canada's ten provinces and second only to Quebec in area. It is located in east-central Canada and is considered one of the provinces of Central Canada. Its capital is Toronto, which is also the largest city in Canada. Belleville is the kind of town you daydream about. It is a city with endless recreational opportunities, rich history, and modern day luxuries.
